The 2015 International Conference on

Field-Programmable Technology (FPT '15)

7-9 December, Rydges Lakeland Resort, Queenstown, New Zealand

Demo session

FPT 2015 solicits submissions relating to technical demonstrations to be presented at a Demonstration Session. Demonstrations of tools, architectures, device technologies, applications, and educations are welcome, with an emphasis on themes related to reconfiguration.

All demonstration proposals should be written up as 4-page papers that detail the goals of the demonstration along with the theory and implementation of the system being demonstrated, and any related results.

Accompanying the paper, please submit a single-page cover note in which you provide the following details:

  • Author(s) and affiliation(s)
  • Demo completeness to date
  • Remaining development to be completed
  • Equipment to be brought as part of the demo
  • Intended method of equipment transportation
  • Setup time required
  • Any additional requirements/notes

Note that the conference organizers will only be able to provide a single table (W1800 mm), power outlet (220V-300W), and a poster paper panel (W900 mm * H2000 mm). It is your responsibility to bring all equipment and connectivity, and to confirm compatibility with NZ voltage standards and power connection.

Demonstration proposals will be judged on technical merit, practical maturity and suitability of theme. Papers will be reviewed by the committee members and accepted papers will be published in the proceedings, with live demonstration at the conference being a requirement. You are also encouraged to bring a poster to accompany your demonstration.

In submitting a paper, you warrant that at least one of the authors will register and present the paper at the conference. Failure to present will result in the paper not being submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore.
